The next time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack during this spell’s duration, your weapon pierces both body and mind, and the attack deals an extra 4d6 psychic damage to the target. Is Staggering Smite Good?

Overall Rating: Orange. This means that staggering smite is an OK spell.

Overall Notes: The damage isn't great considering you could get 5d8 radiant damage out of a 4th-level divine smite. The effect, while powerful, gives them a chance to save and ends automatically after one turn. Can be useful when fighting a particularly tough baddie, especially one that isn't specced into Wisdom.
