What’s the Verdict?
These are easily the nicest dice in my (admittedly too large) collection. While they’re not quite as heavy as metal dice, they have a better feeling in your hand than acrylic dice. The weight, for me, is a Goldilocks weight for sure. Sometimes metal dice can be a bit too heavy so that they’re hard to roll into a small area like a dice tray. In contrast, acrylic dice can be so light they fly all around the table when you roll them. These gemstone dice are right in the middle and have a perfect roll and tumble.
Both the Amethyst Gemstone and Black Obsidian Natural Gemstone dice sets are unique, handmade, and one-of-a-kind. The numbers on each die are laser engraved, ensuring they won’t fade over time. The angular and stylized design of the font complements the unique texture and color variations of the gemstones.
