EBONWOOD is a tabletop gaming company based in Appleton, Wisconsin, that focuses on crafting premium gaming accessories with both function and aesthetics in mind. Their catalog ranges from unique dice sets to portable rolling solutions, often with a distinctive design twist. Tidal Focus Dice Set

The Tidal Focus Dice Set is a resin polyhedral set that features swirls of ocean blues and subtle floral accents, with gold numbering that’s easy to read across the table. The set contains a d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and percentile die, which is everything you need to play a game of D&D.

The swirling pattern is encased in a clear resin, which adds a 3D element to the dice, and the corners are satisfyingly sharp (my personal preference for a dice set, just don’t step on them).

I love the effect this creates—and so did my partner, who immediately claimed them as her dice set.

The Carrying Case

The set comes in a sturdy metal tin, which kept the dice secure in my bag between games. EBONWOOD offers engraving options, which can be a nice personal touch for gifting or organizing multiple sets.

Grumpy Cat Dice Box

Made from American walnut, this cat-shaped dice box is functional, a conversation starter, and potentially representative of your familiar (if your familiar is a grumpy cat). It has a laser-engraved grumpy cat design on the top (nothing on the bottom), the foam insert holds a standard seven-die set snugly, and the magnetic closure is satisfyingly strong and stayed shut even after a few commutes in my backpack. At the table, it’s quick to open and keeps everything in one place.

Honestly, when I first opened the box, I thought the Tidal Focus Dice Set wasn’t going to fit, but the case still snapped closed easily. However, if you have any oversized dice, I’d recommend you to look for a larger dice vault.

This comes in walnut, maple, and cherry wood. With the walnut wood, the laser engraving is a bit more subtle, but still easily seen at a well-lit table.

Dragon’s Last Stand Dice Tray

This vegan leather dice tray stays flat for compact storage and clips into a rigid rolling tray. It’s light enough to carry to a game night and large enough for multiple dice to roll without crowding. During use, the walls are sufficiently high to keep the dice from bouncing off the table, and the tray helps protect the table’s surface.

The design on the bottom is a fun detail. After rolling in the tray for a session, the decal is still in excellent shape. If you are planning to use metal or other heavy dice, you can even reverse the tray so the decal is facing down to protect it.

Eco-Friendly and Portable

The vegan leather has a smooth, durable feel and wipes clean easily. For players who bring their own dice to multiple locations, this is a practical and space-saving option.

All three EBONWOOD products brought a mix of style and practicality to the table. The Tidal Focus Dice Set offers a distinctive aesthetic. The Grumpy Cat Dice Box is a secure, themed storage solution that stands out without being impractical. The Dragon’s Last Stand Tray is a solid choice for anyone who needs a portable rolling surface.
