Is Inflict Wounds Good?

Overall Rating: Red. This means that inflict wounds isn’t going to contribute to the effectiveness of your character build at all.

Overall Notes: Does slightly more damage on average than guiding bolt but is a touch spell instead of range and doesn't provide the additional trait where it allows the next attack to be with advantage. Not worth it in most circumstances.

Class Specific Ratings for Inflict Wounds

Oathbreaker paladin: Between this or Divine Smite, I'd probably smite an enemy. The damage is great, but your weapon damage + Divine Smite will usually be higher unless they’re weak to necrotic damage.
